Leave taking: Who is giving this woman to be married by this man?

Opening Statement and Address to Couple: We are gathered here today, in the presence of God, to witness the union of Groom First/Last Name &
Bride First/Last Name in Holy Matrimony. To give thanks for the gift of marriage and to share in the joy of their wedding. Christian marriage is a way of
life given by God so that husband and wife may provide each other companionship, help, comfort, joy, and love. Marriage is a promise of love that
endures all things. Marriage, therefore, is not to be entered into lightly, for by God’s word, we are commanded to hold it in honor at all times.

Intent to Marry:  Groom Full Name, will you have this woman to be your wife, to live together in the holy covenant of marriage; will you love her,
comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health; and forsaking all others, be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?
Bride Full Name, will you have this man to be your husband, to live together in the holy covenant of marriage; will you love him, comfort him, honor
and keep him, in sickness and in health; and forsaking all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?

Vows:  Groom, Repeat after me: I Groom take you Bride, to be my bride, to cherish you, for all that you are, all that you are not, and all that you can be.
Know that I am here for you, and that your pain will be mine and your joy mine as well.  All I ask is you, your love and your trust. I promise to love
you, and be faithful and true till death do us part.
Bride, Repeat after me: I Bride take you Groom to be my husband, to cherish you, for all that you are, all that you are not, and all that you can be. Know
that I am here for you, and that your pain will be mine and your joy mine as well.  All I ask is you, your love and your trust. I promise to love you, and
be faithful and true till death do us part.

Sand Ceremony: Today we will celebrate with a Unity Sand Ceremony in which the Bride and Groom will pour sand from each glass into this  vessel
which will forever commemorate this day and the union that is about to take place. As these two containers of sand are poured into one, the individual
containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one.  Just as these grains of sand can never be separated, so will Groom and Bride’
s marriage be.

Exchange of Rings: As a sign and seal of the love for each other and of the promises you make this day, you have chosen to exchange rings. May I
please have the rings?
Groom place Bride’s ring on her finger and repeat after me: Bride, I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow, and with all that I am, and all that I have.
May this ring forever be to you the symbol of my growing love and commitment.
Bride place Groom’s ring on his finger and repeat after me: Groom I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow, and with all that I am, and all that I
have. May this ring forever be to you the symbol of my growing love and commitment!

Wedding Verse: Mark 10: 6-9-But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and
mother, and cleave to his wife. And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined
together, let not man put asunder.
Wedding Prayer: Let Us Bow our Heads in Prayer- Eternal God, bless Groom and Bride that they may live together in marriage according to the vows
they have made this day.  Fill them with the love of your dear Son so that the love they have for each other will grow deeper and more meaningful with
each day.  May they have a long and joy-filled life together. May their home be a haven of blessing and peace. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Benediction: The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance
upon thee, and give thee peace. In Jesus name, Amen.

Blessing: May these two find happiness in their union! May they live faithfully together, executing the vows they have made between them; and may
they ever remain compassionate and encouraging, that their years may be rich with their joys of life, and their days be long upon the Earth.

Groom and Bride: You have come before God and these witnesses today to express your desire to be husband and wife. By the clasping of hands, by
the reciting of vows, by the exchanging of rings, you have shown your love and devotion to each other. By the power vested in me by God, I now
pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss your Bride!
It is now my honor to present to you Mr. & Mrs. Groom & Bride Last Name
